The 3M Adaptic Non-Adhering Dressing is a sterile primary wound contact layer designed to protect the wound bed and minimize pain during dressing changes. Its petroleum emulsion coating and knitted cellulose acetate mesh prevent the dressing from sticking to the wound, allowing fluid to pass through to a secondary dressing. It can be cut to size without unraveling and is suitable for use under compression therapy or Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT). Ideal for burns, lacerations, abrasions, grafts, and surgical incisions that require a gentle, non-adherent contact layer.
