Spring has sprung at Nightingale Medical Supplies! With the season well on its way, we wanted to share a nutritious and delicious recipe for a spring smoothie bowl. This recipe features FiberCel Fiber Powder and adds 5g serving of fiber to conveniently add fiber to any diet!
Ingredients:
For the smoothie:
- 1 cup frozen mixed berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1 ripe banana, frozen or fresh
- ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, adjust sweetness to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional, for added texture and nutrition)
- 5g of FiberCel Fiber Powder
For topping:
- Sliced fresh fruits (such as kiwi, strawberries, banana, mango)
- Granola or muesli
- Shredded coconut
- Chopped nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, or pecans)
- Edible flowers (optional, for decoration)

Prepare the Smoothie Base:
- In a blender, combine the frozen berries, banana, Greek yogurt, almond milk, honey or maple syrup (if using), vanilla extract, and chia seeds.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick you can add a little more almond milk to reach your desired consistency.

Assemble the Smoothie Bowl:
- Pour the smoothie into a bowl.

Add Toppings:
- Arrange the sliced fresh fruits, granola or muesli, shredded coconut, and chopped nuts on top of the smoothie.
- Feel free to get creative with your toppings and add any other fruits, nuts, or seeds you like.
- For an extra touch, you can garnish with edible flowers for a beautiful presentation.
